The soprano Laura Crespo Pérez, born in Barcelona (1996), began her musical studies at the age of 14, studying violin at the Conservatori Professional del Liceu. Years later she decided to change from violin to classical singing and began her studies at the same center.

Graduated in Music at the Conservatori Superior de Música de Liceu (2017-2021) with the biannual scholarship "Joves Promeses" (for young promises), from the Ferrer-Salat Foundation.

​

During her academic career she was part of the "Cor Infantil" and the "Cor de Noies" of the Orfeó Català.

​

At the age of 15, she made her debut as a soloist in an opera of the Petit Liceu at the Teatre-Auditori de Sant Cugat.

​

She has participated in master classes given by renowned artists and musicians such as Pretty Yende, Ailyn Pérez, Dolora Zajick, Carlos Conde, Joan Dornemann, Carmen Bustamante...

​

Laura has performed roles as Pamina Die Zauberflöte, at the "Teatre de La Faràndula" in Sabadell, with the "Escola d'òpera de Sabadell", Barbarina Le nozze di Figaro, with the "Saluzzo Opera Academy" in Italy, Fiordiligi Così fan tutte, with the “Vienna Opera academy”, at the Borromäus Saal in Vienna. She has also worked Musetta La Bohème and Adina L'elisir d'amore with the “Vincerò Academy”.

 Among her operatic roles she has performed Zerlina Don Giovanni, Susanna Le nozze di Figaro, Manon Lescaut Manon, Papagena Die Zauberflöte, Clorinda La Cenerentola and Nadala El Follet.

​

In addition, her operatic activity is combined with a concert activity, passing also through symphonic repertoire, song and recital.

In 2017, Laura participated in her first contest and won the second prize in the contest "GRANADOS 150 years".

Recently, she has received several awards in different competitions both nationally and internationally: Winner of the 1st prize at the "World Classical Music Awards, Season 2" in 2022, Honor Mention in the '"II International Viennese Spring Music Competition" in 2022, 2nd prize in the "BTHVN Wien Competition" in 2022, 2nd  prize in the "Amadeus International Music Awards" en 2022, 1r en el "2nd Swiss International Music Competition" and 1st  in the "International Music Competition Paris GRAND PRIZE VIRTUÓS, both in 2022. 2nd prize at the "The North International Music Competition", 2nd prize at the "Birmingham International Music Competition", both in 2022, 3rd prize at the "Clara Schumann International Competition 2022", 2nd prize at the "Concours International de jeunes musiciens de talent Nouvelles Étoiles, 1st prize at the "Fanny Mendelsson International Competition" and at the "London Classical Music Competition", both in 2023.
